Numbers stay small by idle game standards, while most of the math still features exponential curves. Not to worry though, there are plenty of things to optimise during the limited time you have in life. With this game, I've aimed to keep the game much easier to grasp and harder to make significant mistakes. My previous game was considered fairly complex/confusing by a fair amount of players. When Early Access finishes, a new game plus feature will probably be added for those that prefer to continue, but the game won't feature procedural content at any point. The full version will expand on that story significantly throughout Early Access (starting Q3 2021), but will stay true to the concept of being a game you can complete. The Demo features the first chapter of that story and can be completed in roughly 9 hours. The game features a simplistic story and can be completed. With every generation, your chances at survival will increase, because progress in previous lives increases your instincts. ![]() ![]() However, death merely marks a new beginning. As time goes on, your health will decline increasingly faster until you'll eventually die. It's up to you to survive as long as you can with the tools that you unlock throughout life, such as food or constructions. Increlution is a minimalistic idle game about time management that takes inspiration from roguelite games. But the fact that I've continually developed my first game for over a year and a half (so far) might tell you something about me.
